THE HISTORY OF GODINGS
Ian Goding commenced business by himself in 1972 with a handful of cash and an early model Ford truck.

Working long hours, often 7 days per week, and rounding off the day doing accounts, sitting up in bed. Married 12 months later, Ian’s wife Robyn became bookkeeper, spare parts salesperson, receptionist, service advisor, you-name-it.

The original premises purchased (see picture, right) were adjacent to our current location.

In their ninth year, Godings purchased the new site and commenced the construction of the new premises, where we stand today.

Godings went on to establish branches at Rockbank and Mansfield, to better serve and provide localised service support to metropolitan Melbourne and the outer Northern and Western districts.

From our very small beginning to three locations across Victoria and a staff of 36, Godings have become a well known and well established company.

Over the years we have even topped the charts and been Kubota's largest dealer in Australia.

Godings are able to provide a comprehensive range covering all of the needs of our diverse customer base. With the changing nature of our business and market, Godings will continue to grow and move with the change to provide our customers with the service and products they require.
